Dr. Victor August is a world-renowned motivational speaker, inspirational leader, and the President and Founder of the August Institute of Life Studies, an organization dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of mankind. Dr. August is the author of Know Thyself, Show Thyself: A Guide to Becoming the Person You've Always Dreamed of Being, and has also written and narrated "Now Here This", a highly successful personal-development audio series. Dr. August has helped Fortune 500 executives, professionals, entrepreneurs, entertainers and world-class athletes achieve their goals, and continues to participate in countless benevolent and charitable causes worldwide.
Mrs. Tallulah August
Outreach Coordinator
Tallulah August hails from Cincinnati, Ohio where she attended Phillip Howard High School and Miss Betty's Academy of Dance. After living in many world capitals including Morocco and Amsterdam, she settled in London for two years. It was there that she learned Spanish and was nanny to the children of Sir Nigel Chinnery, M.P. She met her beloved husband, Dr. Victor August, at a Kiln "Neighborhood Bar-B-Que" in Austin, TX, one of the stops on the book tour of her world-renowned and best selling children's story La Muneca de los Ojos Turqes. Mrs. August is the Outreach Coordinator for the August Institute of Life Studies.
Roger Bindy
Business Manager
Roger Bindy found The Kiln just in time. During the mid and late eighties Roger was a broker for the Wall Street firm of HLDB. Money was his God and he made a lot of it. When approached by Dr. Victor August to manage the start-up of The Kiln, he became intrigued, and explored the Doctor's philosophies. After going through The Kiln, Roger realized that he had been wasting his time and his life. He agreed to become business manager for The August Institute of Life Studies and has been happy ever since.
Jack Valentine
Personnel Supervisor
Jack, a child star of the 70's (best known for his work on ZOOM! and as "The Saltines (TM) Kid"), spent much of the 80's wandering around aimlessly, descending into the world of drugs and alcohol. Jack met Dr. August by chance in the early nineties, got off the drugs, has gotten married and is now the proud father of two beautiful daughters, Siobhan and Twinkle. Jack heads the Institute's Safety Committee, and holds a degree in Threat Management.
